For this year’s Disrupt SF, our team was brought on by our good friend Keisuke Shingu to create a unique sequence of animations that maintained the TechCrunch brand, while playing off of the event’s location.
Using geographical map data and height maps, we created an accurate, minimalistic rendering of the city of San Francisco. From there we created multiple camera animations exploring the different parts of the city and fused these sequences with the TechCrunch brand. The resulting visual content was displayed during keynote presentations and as branded screen content throughout the 3-day event.
